Sheepbridge Resource Park is a proposal to develop a sustainable business that produces renewable energy, increases recycling, reduces landfill and creates over 100 new engineering and process jobs.
The Resource Park will be developed on brownfield land in need of remediation and will be operated to serve local businesses. The site is one identified by Derbyshire County Council as suitable for development as a Resource Park. A planning application and accompanying Environmental Impact Statement has been prepared and submitted to the County Council.
This website has been designed to provide information on the proposal and seek comment and involvement from the local community. Visitors to the website are able to get information explaining what the development will entail, why the site was chosen and how it will benefit Derbyshire and the local community it is located within.

Sheepbridge Resource Park Limited is a private limited company with sole aim of developing and operating the facility at Sheepbridge. The Company is owned by Cyclamax Holdings Limited (CHL). CHL’s principle aim is to develop a network of Resource Parks in the UK. One of the first principles of any Resource Park is to integrate the development into the community where it’s located. This focus on community scale and operation extends to ensuring that each development is a separate business entity, hence the Planning Application is in the name of Sheepbridge Resource Park Limited.
